²⁹ The Spirit told^(A) Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”

¹⁹ While Peter was still thinking about the vision,^(A) the Spirit said^(B) to him, “Simon, three^[a] men are looking for you.

¹² The Spirit told^(A) me to have no hesitation about going with them.^(B) These six brothers^(C) also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.

²² “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem,^(A) not knowing what will happen to me there. ²³ I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me^(B) that prison and hardships are facing me.^(C)

² While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,^(A) “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work^(B) to which I have called them.”^{(C) 3} So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them^(D) and sent them off.^(E)

On Cyprus

⁴ The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit,^(F) went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.^(G)
