27 “For, in fact, in this city both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people[a] of Israel, assembled together against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed,(A) 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place. 29 And now, Lord, consider their threats, and grant that Your slaves may speak Your message with complete boldness,(B)

27 Indeed Herod(A) and Pontius Pilate(B) met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus,(C) whom you anointed. 28 They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen.(D) 29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.(E)
