24 but for ours also. It will be counted to us (A)who believe in (B)him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, 25 (C)who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised (D)for our justification.

Peace with God Through Faith

(E)Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, (F)we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also (G)obtained access by faith[b] into this grace (H)in which we stand, and (I)we[c] rejoice[d] in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we (J)rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering (K)produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and (L)hope does not put us to shame, because God's love (M)has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

For (N)while we were still weak, at the right time (O)Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but (P)God shows his love for us in that (Q)while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, (R)we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from (S)the wrath of God. 10 For if (T)while we were enemies (U)we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by (V)his life.

24 but also for us,(A) to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him(B) who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.(C) 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins(D) and was raised to life for our justification.(E)

Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified(F) through faith,(G) we[a] have peace(H) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,(I) through whom we have gained access(J) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.(K) And we[b] boast in the hope(L) of the glory of God. Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings,(M) because we know that suffering produces perseverance;(N) perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope(O) does not put us to shame, because God’s love(P) has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,(Q) who has been given to us.

You see, at just the right time,(R) when we were still powerless,(S) Christ died for the ungodly.(T) Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(U)

Since we have now been justified(V) by his blood,(W) how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath(X) through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies,(Y) we were reconciled(Z) to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!(AA)

But when (A)the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, (B)not because of works done by us in righteousness, but (C)according to his own mercy, by (D)the washing of regeneration and (E)renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he (F)poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that (G)being justified by his grace we might become (H)heirs (I)according to the hope of eternal life.
