¹² Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”^(A)

²⁴ but also for us,^(A) to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him^(B) who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.^{(C) 25} He was delivered over to death for our sins^(D) and was raised to life for our justification.^(E)

Peace and Hope

5 Therefore, since we have been justified^(F) through faith,^(G) we^[a] have peace^(H) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,^{(I) 2} through whom we have gained access^(J) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.^(K) And we^[b] boast in the hope^(L) of the glory of God. ³ Not only so, but we^[c] also glory in our sufferings,^(M) because we know that suffering produces perseverance;^{(N) 4} perseverance, character; and character, hope. ⁵ And hope^(O) does not put us to shame, because God’s love^(P) has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,^(Q) who has been given to us.

⁶ You see, at just the right time,^(R) when we were still powerless,^(S) Christ died for the ungodly.^{(T) 7} Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. ⁸ But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.^(U)

⁹ Since we have now been justified^(V) by his blood,^(W) how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath^(X) through him! ¹⁰ For if, while we were God’s enemies,^(Y) we were reconciled^(Z) to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!^(AA)

⁴ But when the kindness^(A) and love of God our Savior^(B) appeared,^{(C) 5} he saved us,^(D) not because of righteous things we had done,^(E) but because of his mercy.^(F) He saved us through the washing^(G) of rebirth and renewal^(H) by the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom he poured out on us^(I) generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that, having been justified by his grace,^(J) we might become heirs^(K) having the hope^(L) of eternal life.^(M)

⁹ But he said to me, “My grace^(A) is sufficient for you, for my power^(B) is made perfect in weakness.^(C)”^(D) Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
