⁶ Then the ^(A)lame shall leap like a deer,
And the ^(B)tongue of the dumb sing.
For ^(C)waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.

^20 (A)He sent His word and ^(B)healed them,
And ^(C)delivered them from their destructions.
²¹ Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
^22 (D)Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving,
And ^(E)declare His works with ^[a]rejoicing.

^23 (A)Rejoice in that day and leap for joy!
For indeed your reward is great in heaven,
For ^(B)in like manner their fathers did to the prophets.
