22 Moses said, ‘(A)The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet [a]like me from your brethren; to Him you shall give heed to everything He says to you. 23 (B)And it will be that every (C)soul that does not heed that prophet (D)shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24 And likewise, (E)all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days. 25 It is you who are (F)the sons of the prophets and of the (G)covenant which God [b]made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘(H)And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26 For you (I)first, God (J)raised up His [c]Servant and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.”

22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.(A) 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’[a](B)
24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets(C) who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs(D) of the prophets and of the covenant(E) God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b](F) 26 When God raised up(G) his servant, he sent him first(H) to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
