23 So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, (A)to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus (B)from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening. 24 And (C)some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved.

23 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God,(A) and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets(B) he tried to persuade them about Jesus.(C) 24 Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.(D)
