¹⁸and while I was doing this, some Jews from Asia found me ritually purified in the temple, without a crowd and without any uproar.^(A)

¹⁸Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.

²¹For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple complex and were trying to kill me.

²¹For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.
