¹²When it was day, ^(A)the Jews made a plot and ^(B)bound themselves by an oath neither to eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

Acts 23:12

New International Version

¹²The next morning some Jews formed a conspiracy^(A) and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul.^(B)

²⁴but their ^(A)plot became known to Saul. ^(B)They were watching the gates day and night in order to kill him,

²⁴but Saul learned of their plan.^(A) Day and night they kept close watch on the city gates in order to kill him.
