¹⁸ and saw Jesus^[a] saying to me, ‘Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’

²¹ Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those inside the city must leave it, and those out in the country must not enter it,^(A)

²³ When they persecute you in this town, flee to the next, for truly I tell you, you will not have finished going through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

¹⁴ If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town.^(A)

⁶ not to many peoples of obscure speech and difficult language whose words you cannot understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.^{(A) 7} But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me, because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.^(B)
