¹⁸ and saw the Lord speaking to me. ‘Quick!’ he said. ‘Leave Jerusalem immediately, because the people here will not accept your testimony about me.’

²¹ Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.^(A)

²³ When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.^(A)

¹⁴ If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.^(A)

⁶ not to many peoples of obscure speech and strange language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you.^{(A) 7} But the people of Israel are not willing to listen^(B) to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.^(C)
