12 “A man named Ananias came to see me.(A) He was a devout observer of the law and highly respected by all the Jews living there.(B) 13 He stood beside me and said, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight!’ And at that very moment I was able to see him.

14 “Then he said: ‘The God of our ancestors(C) has chosen you to know his will and to see(D) the Righteous One(E) and to hear words from his mouth. 15 You will be his witness(F) to all people of what you have seen(G) and heard. 16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized(H) and wash your sins away,(I) calling on his name.’(J)

13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.

14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
