²³Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

¹⁸I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.^(A)

¹⁸For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

¹⁷For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.^(A)

¹⁷For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
