22 And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained (A)by[a] the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, 23 except that (B)the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that (C)imprisonment and (D)afflictions await me. 24 But (E)I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only (F)I may finish my course and (G)the ministry (H)that I received from the Lord Jesus, (I)to testify to (J)the gospel of (K)the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, (L)I know that none of you among whom I have gone about (M)proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. 26 Therefore (N)I testify to you this day that (O)I am innocent of the blood of all, 27 for (P)I did not shrink from declaring to you (Q)the whole counsel of God. 28 (R)Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all (S)the flock, in which (T)the Holy Spirit has made you (U)overseers, (V)to care for (W)the church of God,[b] which he (X)obtained (Y)with his own blood.[c] 29 I (Z)know that after my departure (AA)fierce wolves will come in among you, (AB)not sparing the flock; 30 and (AC)from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. 31 Therefore (AD)be alert, remembering that (AE)for three years I did not cease night or day (AF)to admonish every one (AG)with tears. 32 And now (AH)I commend you to God and to (AI)the word of his grace, which is able to (AJ)build you up and to give you (AK)the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 (AL)I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. 34 (AM)You yourselves know that (AN)these hands ministered to my necessities and (AO)to those who were with me. 35 In all things (AP)I have shown you that (AQ)by working hard in this way we must (AR)help the weak and (AS)remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed (AT)to give than to receive.’

22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem,(A) not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me(B) that prison and hardships are facing me.(C) 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;(D) my only aim is to finish the race(E) and complete the task(F) the Lord Jesus has given me(G)—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.(H)

25 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom(I) will ever see me again.(J) 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you.(K) 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.(L) 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock(M) of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.(N) Be shepherds of the church of God,[a](O) which he bought(P) with his own blood.[b](Q) 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves(R) will come in among you and will not spare the flock.(S) 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples(T) after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years(U) I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.(V)

32 “Now I commit you to God(W) and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance(X) among all those who are sanctified.(Y) 33 I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.(Z) 34 You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.(AA) 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
