19 serving the Lord with all humility and with tears, enduring the trials that came to me through the plots of the Jews. 20 I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house,(A) 21 as I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus.[a](B)

19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears(A) and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents.(B) 20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything(C) that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. 21 I have declared to both Jews(D) and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance(E) and have faith in our Lord Jesus.(F)
