7 (A)They were amazed and astonished, saying, “[a]Why, are not all these who are speaking (B)Galileans? 8 And how is it that we each hear them in our own [b]language [c]to which we were born? 9 Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and (C)Cappadocia, (D)Pontus and [d](E)Asia, 10 (F)Phrygia and (G)Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around (H)Cyrene, and [e](I)visitors from Rome, both Jews and [f](J)proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own [g]tongues of the mighty deeds of God.”

7 Utterly amazed,(A) they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?(B) 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia,(C) Pontus(D) and Asia,[a](E) 10 Phrygia(F) and Pamphylia,(G) Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene;(H) visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
