The Fellowship of the Believers
42 And (A)they devoted themselves to the apostles' (B)teaching and the (C)fellowship, to (D)the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe[a] came upon every soul, and (E)many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and (F)had all things in common. 45 And (G)they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, (H)attending the temple (I)together and (J)breaking bread in their homes, they received their food (K)with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and (L)having favor with all the people. And the Lord (M)added to their number (N)day by day those who (O)were being saved.

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching(A) and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread(B) and to prayer.(C) 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.(D) 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.(E) 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.(F) 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.(G) They broke bread(H) in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.(I) And the Lord added to their number(J) daily those who were being saved.

(B)Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, (C)be fervent in spirit,[a] (D)serve the Lord. 12 (E)Rejoice in hope, (F)be patient in tribulation, (G)be constant in prayer. 13 (H)Contribute to the needs of the saints and (I)seek to show hospitality.
14 (J)Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 (K)Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 (L)Live in harmony with one another. (M)Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly.[b] (N)Never be wise in your own sight. 17 (O)Repay no one evil for evil, but (P)give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, (Q)live peaceably with all.
