⁴⁰ And with many other words he solemnly ^(A)bore witness and kept on exhorting them, saying, “^[a]Be saved from this ^(B)crooked generation!”

²³ who, when he arrived and saw ^(A)the grace of God, rejoiced and began to encourage them all with a purposeful heart to remain true to the Lord;

¹⁵ And after ^(A)the reading of the Law and ^(B)the Prophets ^(C)the synagogue officials sent to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say it.”

³ But one who prophesies speaks to men for ^(A)edification and ^(B)exhortation and encouragement.

³ For our ^(A)exhortation does not come from ^(B)error or ^(C)impurity or ^[a]by way of ^(D)deceit;
