Acts 19:4-6

4 And Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people that they should believe in the one who was to come after him—that is, in Jesus.” 5 And when they[a] heard this,[b] they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when[c] Paul laid hands[d] on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them and they began to speak[e] in tongues and to prophesy.

4 Paul said, “John’s baptism(A) was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”(B) 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.(C) 6 When Paul placed his hands on them,(D) the Holy Spirit came on them,(E) and they spoke in tongues[a](F) and prophesied.
