Acts 19:3-5

3 And he said, (A)“Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into (B)John's baptism.” 4 And Paul said, (C)“John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people (D)to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, (E)they were baptized in[a] the name of the Lord Jesus.

3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”
“John’s baptism,” they replied.
4 Paul said, “John’s baptism(A) was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”(B) 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.(C)

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
