5 (A)When Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was (B)compelled [a]by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ. 6 But (C)when they opposed him and blasphemed, (D)he shook his garments and said to them, (E)“Your blood be upon your own heads; (F)I am clean. (G)From now on I will go to the Gentiles.” 7 And he departed from there and entered the house of a certain man named [b]Justus, one who worshiped God, whose house was next door to the synagogue.

5 When Silas(A) and Timothy(B) came from Macedonia,(C) Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.(D) 6 But when they opposed Paul and became abusive,(E) he shook out his clothes in protest(F) and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads!(G) I am innocent of it.(H) From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”(I)
7 Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God.(J)
