² And he found a Jew named ^(A)Aquila, a native of ^(B)Pontus, having recently come from ^(C)Italy with his wife ^(D)Priscilla, because ^(E)Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. He came to them,

²⁶ and ^[a]he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when ^(A)Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him ^(B)the way of God more accurately.
