² And he found a Jew named ^(A)Aquila, a native of ^(B)Pontus, and his wife ^(C)Priscilla, who recently came from ^(D)Italy because ^(E)Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome. He came to them,

²⁶ and ^[a]he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when ^(A)Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him ^(B)the way of God more accurately.
