9 And when they had received a [a]pledge from (A)Jason and the others, they released them.

10 (B)The brothers immediately sent (C)Paul and Silas away by night to (D)Berea, [b]and when they arrived, they went into (E)the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these people were more noble-minded than those in (F)Thessalonica, [c]for they received the word with [d]great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.

10 As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas(B) away to Berea.(C) On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.(D) 11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica,(E) for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures(F) every day to see if what Paul said was true.(G)
