6 When they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some believers[a] before the city authorities,[b] shouting, ‘These people who have been turning the world upside down have come here also, 7 and Jason has entertained them as guests. They are all acting contrary to the decrees of the emperor, saying that there is another king named Jesus.’

6 But when they did not find them, they dragged(A) Jason and some other believers(B) before the city officials, shouting: “These men who have caused trouble all over the world(C) have now come here,(D) 7 and Jason has welcomed them into his house. They are all defying Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another king, one called Jesus.”(E)
