²⁶ and ^(A)He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having ^(B)determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, ²⁷ that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, ^(C)though He is not far from each one of us; ²⁸ for ^(D)in Him we live and move and ^[a]exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ ²⁹ Being then the children of God, we ^(E)ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. ³⁰ Therefore having ^(F)overlooked ^(G)the times of ignorance, God is ^(H)now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, ³¹ because He has fixed ^(I)a day in which ^(J)He will judge ^[b](K)the world in righteousness ^[c]through a Man whom He has ^(L)appointed, having furnished proof to all men ^[d]by ^(M)raising Him from the dead.”

³² Now when they heard of ^(N)the resurrection of the dead, some began to sneer, but others said, “We shall hear you ^[e]again concerning this.” ³³ So Paul went out of their midst. ³⁴ But some men joined him and believed, among whom also were Dionysius the ^(O)Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.

¹⁹ because ^(A)that which is known about God is evident ^[a]within them; for God made it evident to them. ²⁰ For ^(B)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, ^(C)being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. ²¹ For even though they knew God, they did not ^[b]honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became ^(D)futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. ^22 (E)Professing to be wise, they became fools, ²³ and ^(F)exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and ^[c]crawling creatures.

²⁴ Therefore ^(G)God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be ^(H)dishonored among them. ²⁵ For they exchanged the truth of God for ^[d]a ^(I)lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, ^(J)who is blessed ^[e]forever. Amen.

²⁶ For this reason ^(K)God gave them over to ^(L)degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is ^[f]unnatural, ²⁷ and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, ^(M)men with men committing ^[g]indecent acts and receiving in ^[h]their own persons the due penalty of their error.

²⁸ And just as they did not see fit ^[i]to acknowledge God any longer, ^(N)God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are ^(O)gossips, ³⁰ slanderers, ^[j](P)haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, ^(Q)disobedient to parents, ³¹ without understanding, untrustworthy, ^(R)unloving, unmerciful; ³² and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of ^(S)death, they not only do the same, but also ^(T)give hearty approval to those who practice them.
