Acts 16:2-4
Good News Translation
2 All the believers in Lystra and Iconium spoke well of Timothy. 3 Paul wanted to take Timothy along with him, so he circumcised him. He did so because all the Jews who lived in those places knew that Timothy's father was Greek. 4 As they went through the towns, they delivered to the believers the rules decided upon by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem, and they told them to obey those rules.

New International Version
2 The believers(A) at Lystra and Iconium(B) spoke well of him. 3 Paul wanted to take him along on the journey, so he circumcised him because of the Jews who lived in that area, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.(C) 4 As they traveled from town to town, they delivered the decisions reached by the apostles and elders(D) in Jerusalem(E) for the people to obey.(F)
