14 But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they (A)tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out, 15 “Men, (B)why are you doing these things? We also are men, (C)of like nature with you, and we bring you good news, that (D)you should turn from these (E)vain things to (F)a living God, (G)who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. 16 In past generations he (H)allowed all the nations (I)to walk in their own ways.

14 But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes(A) and rushed out into the crowd, shouting: 15 “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human,(B) like you. We are bringing you good news,(C) telling you to turn from these worthless things(D) to the living God,(E) who made the heavens and the earth(F) and the sea and everything in them.(G) 16 In the past, he let(H) all nations go their own way.(I)
