Acceptance and Opposition

14 In ^(A)Iconium ^(B)they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner ^(C)that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of ^(D)Greeks.

¹⁹ But ^(A)Jews came from ^(B)Antioch and ^(C)Iconium, and having won over the crowds, they ^(D)stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.

²¹ After they had ^(A)preached the gospel to that city and had ^(B)made many disciples, they returned to ^(C)Lystra and to ^(D)Iconium and to ^(E)Antioch,

² and he was well spoken of by ^(A)the brethren who were in ^(B)Lystra and ^(C)Iconium.

^11 (A)persecutions, and ^(B)sufferings, such as happened to me at ^(C)Antioch, at ^(D)Iconium and at ^(E)Lystra; what ^(F)persecutions I endured, and out of them all ^(G)the Lord rescued me!
