Acts 13:27-31

27 For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, (A)because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. 28 (B)And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. 29 (C)Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, (D)they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. 30 (E)But God raised Him from the dead. 31 (F)He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.

New International Version
27 The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus,(A) yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets(B) that are read every Sabbath. 28 Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed.(C) 29 When they had carried out all that was written about him,(D) they took him down from the cross(E) and laid him in a tomb.(F) 30 But God raised him from the dead,(G) 31 and for many days he was seen by those who had traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem.(H) They are now his witnesses(I) to our people.
