Acts 13:27-29

27 For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they[a] did not recognize this one, and the voices of the prophets that are read on every Sabbath, fulfilled them[b] by[c] condemning him.[d] 28 And although they[e] found no charge worthy of death, they asked Pilate that he be executed. 29 And when they had carried out all the things that were written about him, they took him[f] down from the tree and[g] placed him[h] in a tomb.

27 The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus,(A) yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets(B) that are read every Sabbath. 28 Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed.(C) 29 When they had carried out all that was written about him,(D) they took him down from the cross(E) and laid him in a tomb.(F)
