25 As John was completing his service, he said, ‘What do you suppose me to be? I am not He. But behold, One is coming after me, whose sandal I’m not worthy to untie.’
26 “Brothers, sons of the family of Abraham and those among you who are God-fearers, it is to us the message of this salvation has been sent. 27 For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers—not recognizing Him or the sayings of the Prophets that are read every Shabbat—fulfilled these words by condemning Him.

25 As John was completing his work,(A) he said: ‘Who do you suppose I am? I am not the one you are looking for.(B) But there is one coming after me whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.’(C)
26 “Fellow children of Abraham(D) and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation(E) has been sent. 27 The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus,(F) yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets(G) that are read every Sabbath.
