¹⁴Recognizing Peter's voice, ^(A)in her joy she did not open the gate but ran in and reported that Peter was standing at the gate.

New International Version

¹⁴When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed^(A) she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, “Peter is at the door!”

¹⁴And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

²⁶And they told him, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” And his heart became numb, for he did not believe them.

²⁶They told him, “Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt.”^(A) Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them.^(B)

²⁶And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not.
