Glorify God Together

Therefore (A)receive one another, just (B)as Christ also received [a]us, to the glory of God. Now I say that (C)Jesus Christ has become a [b]servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, (D)to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and (E)that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:

(F)“For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles,
And sing to Your name.”

10 And again he says:

(G)“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”

11 And again:

(H)“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles!
Laud Him, all you peoples!”

12 And again, Isaiah says:

(I)“There shall be a root of Jesse;
And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles,
In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”

Accept one another,(A) then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[a](B) on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises(C) made to the patriarchs might be confirmed and, moreover, that the Gentiles(D) might glorify God(E) for his mercy. As it is written:

“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
    I will sing the praises of your name.”[b](F)

10 Again, it says,

“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”[c](G)

11 And again,

“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
    let all the peoples extol him.”[d](H)

12 And again, Isaiah says,

“The Root of Jesse(I) will spring up,
    one who will arise to rule over the nations;
    in him the Gentiles will hope.”[e](J)
