Acts 1:9-11

9 And after he[a] had said these things, while[b] they were watching, he was taken up, and a cloud received him from their sight. 10 And as they were staring into the sky while[c] he was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood by them 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee,[d] why do you stand there looking[e] into the sky? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven like this will come back in the same way you saw him departing into heaven!”

9 After he said this, he was taken up(A) before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white(B) stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,”(C) they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back(D) in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
