²⁴Then they prayed,^(A) “Lord, you know everyone’s heart.^(B) Show us^(C) which of these two you have chosen

⁸So God, ^(A)who knows the heart, ^[a]acknowledged them by ^(B)giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us,

⁸God, who knows the heart,^(A) showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them,^(B) just as he did to us.
