21 Therefore, from the men having accompanied us during all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and went out among us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John until the day that He was taken-up from us— one of these must become a witness of His resurrection with us”.

23 And they put-forward two: Joseph (the one being called Barsabbas, who was called Justus), and Matthias. 24 And having prayed, they said, “You, Lord, heart-knower of all— appoint[a] the one whom You chose from these two 25 to take the place of this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned-aside to go to his own place”.

23 So they nominated two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. 24 Then they prayed,(C) “Lord, you know everyone’s heart.(D) Show us(E) which of these two you have chosen 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.”
