⁴⁷ praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.^(A) And the Lord added to their number^(B) daily those who were being saved.

²¹ that^[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay^(A) and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.^(B)

²² We know that the whole creation has been groaning^(C) as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. ²³ Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,^(D) groan^(E) inwardly as we wait eagerly^(F) for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.^{(G) 24} For in this hope we were saved.^(H) But hope that is seen is no hope at all.^(I) Who hopes for what they already have?

³⁰ And those he predestined,^(A) he also called;^(B) those he called, he also justified;^(C) those he justified, he also glorified.^(D)

²⁸ so Christ was sacrificed once^(A) to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time,^(B) not to bear sin,^(C) but to bring salvation^(D) to those who are waiting for him.^(E)
