⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first.^(A) Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.^(B)

²¹ So then, no more boasting about human leaders!^(A) All things are yours,^(B)

¹⁵ Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself?^(A) Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!

²³ You were bought at a price;^(A) do not become slaves of human beings.

²³ and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty,

²⁴ while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it,

⁴ that each of you should learn to control your own body^[a](A) in a way that is holy and honorable,
