Acts 2:22-32
New King James Version
22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you (A)by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23 Him, (B)being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, (C)you [a]have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 (D)whom God raised up, having [b]loosed the [c]pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him:
(E)‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face,
For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;
Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.
27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see (F)corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’
29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you (G)of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, (H)and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, [d]according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, (I)that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 (J)This Jesus God has raised up, (K)of which we are all witnesses.

A Heavenly Inheritance
3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who (B)according to His abundant mercy (C)has begotten us again to a living hope (D)through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance [a]incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, (E)reserved in heaven for you, 5 (F)who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 (G)In this you greatly rejoice, though now (H)for a little while, if need be, (I)you have been [b]grieved by various trials, 7 that (J)the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though (K)it is tested by fire, (L)may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 (M)whom having not [c]seen you love. (N)Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

John 20:16-31
New King James Version
16 Jesus said to her, (A)“Mary!”
She turned and said to [a]Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet (B)ascended to My Father; but go to (C)My brethren and say to them, (D)‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to (E)My God and your God.’ ”
18 (F)Mary Magdalene came and told the [b]disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.
The Apostles Commissioned(G)
19 (H)Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were [c]assembled, for (I)fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, (J)“Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He (K)showed them His hands and His side. (L)Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! (M)As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 (N)If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
Seeing and Believing
24 Now Thomas, (O)called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”
So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and (P)reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be (Q)unbelieving, but believing.”
28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Jesus said to him, [d]“Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. (R)Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
That You May Believe
30 And (S)truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 (T)but these are written that (U)you may believe that Jesus (V)is the Christ, the Son of God, (W)and that believing you may have life in His name.
