²⁸ Verily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: ²⁹ but whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin: ³⁰ because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

³¹ Therefore I say unto you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. ³² And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this ^[a]world, nor in that which is to come.

12 In the mean time, when ^[a]the many thousands of the multitude were gathered together, insomuch that they trod one upon another, he began to ^[b]say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
