3 Dies ist das Geschlecht Aarons und Mose's zu der Zeit, da der HERR mit Mose redete auf dem Berge Sinai.
2 Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Aarons: der Erstgeborene Nadab, darnach Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
3 Das sind die Namen der Söhne Aarons, die zu Priestern gesalbt waren und deren Hände gefüllt wurden zum Priestertum.
4 Aber Nadab und Abihu starben vor dem HERRN, da sie fremdes Feuer opferten vor dem HERRN in der Wüste Sinai, und hatten keine Söhne. Eleasar aber und Ithamar pflegten des Priesteramtes unter ihrem Vater Aaron.
5 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
6 Bringe den Stamm Levi herzu und stelle sie vor den Priester Aaron, daß sie ihm dienen
7 und seiner und der ganzen Gemeinde Hut warten vor der Hütte des Stifts und dienen am Dienst der Wohnung
8 und warten alles Gerätes der Hütte des Stifts und der Hut der Kinder Israel, zu dienen am Dienst der Wohnung.
9 Und sollst die Leviten Aaron und seinen Söhnen zuordnen zum Geschenk von den Kindern Israel.
10 Aaron aber und seine Söhne sollst du setzen, daß sie ihres Priestertums warten. Wo ein Fremder sich herzutut, der soll sterben.
11 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
12 Siehe, ich habe die Leviten genommen unter den Kindern Israel für alle Erstgeburt, welche die Mutter bricht, unter den Kindern Israel, also daß die Leviten sollen mein sein.
13 Denn die Erstgeburten sind mein seit der Zeit, da ich alle Erstgeburt schlug in Ägyptenland; da heiligte ich mir alle Erstgeburt in Israel, vom Menschen an bis auf das Vieh, daß sie mein sein sollen, ich, der HERR.
14 Und der HERR redete mit Mose in der Wüste Sinai und sprach:
15 Zähle die Kinder Levi nach ihren Vaterhäusern und Geschlechtern, alles, was männlich ist, einen Monat alt und darüber.
16 Also zählte sie Mose nach dem Wort des HERRN, wie er geboten hatte.
17 Und dies waren die Kinder Levis mit Namen: Gerson, Kahath, Merari.
18 Die Namen aber der Kinder Gersons nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: Libni und Simei.
19 Die Kinder Kahaths nach ihren Geschlechtern waren: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Usiel.
20 Die Kinder Meraris nach ihren Geschlechtern waren; Maheli und Musi. Dies sind die Geschlechter Levis nach ihren Vaterhäusern.
21 Dies sind die Geschlechter von Gerson: die Libniter und Simeiter.
22 Deren Summe war an der Zahl gefunden siebentausendundfünfhundert, alles, was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber.
23 Und dieselben Geschlechter der Gersoniter sollen sich lagern hinter der Wohnung gegen Abend.
24 Ihr Oberster sei Eljasaph, der Sohn Laels.
25 Und sie sollen an der Hütte des Stifts warten der Wohnung und der Hütte und ihrer Decken und des Tuches in der Tür der Hütte des Stifts,
26 des Umhangs am Vorhof und des Tuches in der Tür des Vorhofs, welcher um die Wohnung und um den Altar her geht, und ihre Seile und alles dessen, was zu ihrem Dienst gehört.
27 Dies sind die Geschlechter von Kahath: die Amramiten, die Jizhariten, die Hebroniten und die Usieliten,
28 was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber, an der Zahl achttausendsechshundert, die der Sorge für das Heiligtum warten.
29 und sie sollen sich lagern an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mittag.
30 Ihr Oberster sei Elizaphan, der Sohn Usiels.
31 Und sie sollen warten der Lade, des Tisches, des Leuchters, der Altäre und alles Gerätes des Heiligtums, daran sie dienen und des Tuches und was sonst zu ihrem Dienst gehört.
32 Aber der Oberste über alle Obersten der Leviten soll Eleasar sein, Aarons Sohn, des Priesters, über die, so verordnet sind, zu warten der Sorge für das Heiligtum.
33 Dies sind die Geschlechter Meraris: die Maheliter und Musiter,
34 die an der Zahl waren sechstausendundzweihundert, alles was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber.
35 Ihr Oberster sei Zuriel, der Sohn Abihails. Und sollen sich lagern an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mitternacht.
36 Und ihr Amt soll sein, zu warten der Bretter und Riegel und Säulen und Füße der Wohnung und alles ihres Gerätes und ihres Dienstes,
37 dazu der Säulen um den Vorhof her mit den Füßen und Nägeln und Seilen.
38 Aber vor der Wohnung und vor der Hütte des Stifts gegen Morgen sollen sich lagern Mose und Aaron und seine Söhne, daß sie des Heiligtums warten für die Kinder Israel. Wenn sich ein Fremder herzutut, der soll sterben.
39 Alle Leviten zusammen, die Mose und Aaron zählten nach ihren Geschlechtern nach dem Wort des HERRN eitel Mannsbilder einen Monat alt und darüber, waren zweiundzwanzigtausend.
40 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Zähle alle Erstgeburt, was männlich ist unter den Kindern Israel, einen Monat und darüber, und nimm die Zahl ihrer Namen.
41 Und sollst die Leviten mir, dem HERRN, aussondern für alle Erstgeburt der Kinder Israel und der Leviten Vieh für alle Erstgeburt unter dem Vieh der Kinder Israel.
42 Und Mose zählte, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, alle Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel;
43 und fand sich die Zahl der Namen aller Erstgeburt, was männlich war, einen Monat alt und darüber, in ihrer Summe zweiundzwanzigtausend zweihundertdreiundsiebzig.
44 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
45 Nimm die Leviten für alle Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel und das Vieh der Leviten für ihr Vieh, daß die Leviten mein, des HERRN, seien.
46 Aber als Lösegeld von den zweihundertdreiundsiebzig Erstgeburten der Kinder Israel, die über der Leviten Zahl sind,
47 sollst du je fünf Silberlinge nehmen von Haupt zu Haupt nach dem Lot des Heiligtums (zwanzig Gera hat ein Lot)
48 und sollst das Geld für die, so überzählig sind unter ihnen, geben Aaron und seinen Söhnen.
49 Da nahm Mose das Lösegeld von denen, die über der Leviten Zahl waren,
50 von den Erstgeburten der Kinder Israel, tausenddreihundert und fünfundsechzig Silberlinge nach dem Lot des Heiligtums,
51 und gab's Aaron und seinen Söhnen nach dem Worte des HERRN, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.

The Levites
3 This is the account of the family of Aaron and Moses(A) at the time the Lord spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai.(B)
2 The names of the sons of Aaron were Nadab the firstborn(C) and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(D) 3 Those were the names of Aaron’s sons, the anointed priests,(E) who were ordained to serve as priests. 4 Nadab and Abihu, however, died before the Lord(F) when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai.(G) They had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar(H) served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron.(I)
5 The Lord said to Moses, 6 “Bring the tribe of Levi(J) and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.(K) 7 They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community(L) at the tent of meeting by doing the work(M) of the tabernacle. 8 They are to take care of all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, fulfilling the obligations of the Israelites by doing the work of the tabernacle. 9 Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons;(N) they are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to him.[a] 10 Appoint Aaron(O) and his sons to serve as priests;(P) anyone else who approaches the sanctuary is to be put to death.”(Q)
11 The Lord also said to Moses, 12 “I have taken the Levites(R) from among the Israelites in place of the first male offspring(S) of every Israelite woman. The Levites are mine,(T) 13 for all the firstborn are mine.(U) When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set apart for myself every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal. They are to be mine. I am the Lord.”(V)
14 The Lord said to Moses in the Desert of Sinai,(W) 15 “Count(X) the Levites by their families and clans. Count every male a month old or more.”(Y) 16 So Moses counted them, as he was commanded by the word of the Lord.
17 These were the names of the sons of Levi:(Z)
Gershon,(AA) Kohath(AB) and Merari.(AC)
18 These were the names of the Gershonite clans:
Libni and Shimei.(AD)
19 The Kohathite clans:
Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.(AE)
20 The Merarite clans:(AF)
Mahli and Mushi.(AG)
These were the Levite clans, according to their families.
21 To Gershon(AH) belonged the clans of the Libnites and Shimeites;(AI) these were the Gershonite clans. 22 The number of all the males a month old or more who were counted was 7,500. 23 The Gershonite clans were to camp on the west, behind the tabernacle.(AJ) 24 The leader of the families of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael. 25 At the tent of meeting the Gershonites were responsible for the care of the tabernacle(AK) and tent, its coverings,(AL) the curtain at the entrance(AM) to the tent of meeting,(AN) 26 the curtains of the courtyard(AO), the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard surrounding the tabernacle and altar,(AP) and the ropes(AQ)—and everything(AR) related to their use.
27 To Kohath(AS) belonged the clans of the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites and Uzzielites;(AT) these were the Kohathite(AU) clans. 28 The number of all the males a month old or more(AV) was 8,600.[b] The Kohathites were responsible(AW) for the care of the sanctuary.(AX) 29 The Kohathite clans were to camp on the south side(AY) of the tabernacle. 30 The leader of the families of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan(AZ) son of Uzziel. 31 They were responsible for the care of the ark,(BA) the table,(BB) the lampstand,(BC) the altars,(BD) the articles(BE) of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain,(BF) and everything related to their use.(BG) 32 The chief leader of the Levites was Eleazar(BH) son of Aaron, the priest. He was appointed over those who were responsible(BI) for the care of the sanctuary.(BJ)
33 To Merari belonged the clans of the Mahlites and the Mushites;(BK) these were the Merarite clans.(BL) 34 The number of all the males a month old or more(BM) who were counted was 6,200. 35 The leader of the families of the Merarite clans was Zuriel son of Abihail; they were to camp on the north side of the tabernacle.(BN) 36 The Merarites were appointed(BO) to take care of the frames of the tabernacle,(BP) its crossbars,(BQ) posts,(BR) bases, all its equipment, and everything related to their use,(BS) 37 as well as the posts of the surrounding courtyard(BT) with their bases, tent pegs(BU) and ropes.
38 Moses and Aaron and his sons were to camp to the east(BV) of the tabernacle, toward the sunrise, in front of the tent of meeting.(BW) They were responsible for the care of the sanctuary(BX) on behalf of the Israelites. Anyone else who approached the sanctuary was to be put to death.(BY)
39 The total number of Levites counted(BZ) at the Lord’s command by Moses and Aaron according to their clans, including every male a month old or more, was 22,000.(CA)
40 The Lord said to Moses, “Count all the firstborn Israelite males who are a month old or more(CB) and make a list of their names.(CC) 41 Take the Levites for me in place of all the firstborn of the Israelites,(CD) and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites. I am the Lord.”(CE)
42 So Moses counted all the firstborn of the Israelites, as the Lord commanded him. 43 The total number of firstborn males a month old or more,(CF) listed by name, was 22,273.(CG)
44 The Lord also said to Moses, 45 “Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine.(CH) I am the Lord.(CI) 46 To redeem(CJ) the 273 firstborn Israelites who exceed the number of the Levites, 47 collect five shekels[c](CK) for each one, according to the sanctuary shekel,(CL) which weighs twenty gerahs.(CM) 48 Give the money for the redemption(CN) of the additional Israelites to Aaron and his sons.”(CO)
49 So Moses collected the redemption money(CP) from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites. 50 From the firstborn of the Israelites(CQ) he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels,[d](CR) according to the sanctuary shekel. 51 Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of the Lord.

3 Ito ang tala tungkol sa mga angkan nina Aaron at Moises nang panahong nakipag-usap ang Panginoon kay Moises doon sa Bundok ng Sinai.
2 Ang mga anak ni Aaron ay sina Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar at Itamar. Si Nadab ang panganay. 3 Pinili sila at inordinahan para sa paglilingkod bilang mga pari. 4 Pero sina Nadab at Abihu ay namatay sa presensya ng Panginoon nang gumamit sila ng apoy na hindi dapat gamitin sa paghahandog sa Panginoon doon sa disyerto ng Sinai. Namatay silang walang anak, kaya sina Eleazar at Itamar lang ang naglingkod bilang mga pari habang nabubuhay pa si Aaron.
5 Sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, 6 “Ipatawag ang lahi ni Levi at dalhin sila sa paring si Aaron para tumulong sa kanya. 7 Maglilingkod sila kay Aaron at sa mga mamamayan ng Israel sa pamamagitan ng pag-aasikaso ng mga gawain sa Toldang Sambahan, na tinatawag din na Toldang Tipanan. 8 Sila rin ang mangangalaga ng lahat ng kagamitan ng Toldang Tipanan, at maglilingkod sa Toldang iyon para sa mga Israelita. 9 Itatalaga ang mga Levita para tumulong kay Aaron at sa mga anak niyang lalaki. 10 Si Aaron at ang mga anak niya ang piliin mo na maglilingkod bilang mga pari. Ang sinumang gagawa ng mga gawain ng pari sa Tolda na hindi lahi ni Levi ay papatayin.”
11 Sinabi pa ng Panginoon kay Moises, 12 “Pinili ko ang mga Levita bilang kapalit ng mga panganay na lalaki ng Israel. Akin ang bawat Levita, 13 dahil akin ang bawat panganay. Nang pinagpapatay ko ang lahat ng panganay na lalaki ng mga Egipcio, ibinukod ko para sa akin ang lahat ng panganay na lalaki ng Israel, tao man o hayop. Kaya akin sila. Ako ang Panginoon.”
14 Sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises doon sa disyerto ng Sinai, 15 “Bilangin mo ang mga lalaking Levita mula sa edad na isang buwan pataas, ayon sa kanilang pamilya.” 16 Kaya binilang sila ni Moises, ayon sa iniutos sa kanya ng Panginoon.
17 Ito ang mga anak ni Levi: sina Gershon, Kohat at Merari. 18 Ang mga anak ni Gershon ay sina Libni at Shimei. 19 Ang mga anak ni Kohat ay sina Amram, Izar, Hebron at Uziel. 20 Ang mga anak ni Merari ay sina Mahli at Mushi.
Sila ang mga Levita, ayon sa kanilang pamilya.

Binigyan sila ng responsibilidad na asikasuhin ang Toldang Tipanan. 29 Ang lugar na kanilang pinagkakampuhan ay nasa bandang timog ng Toldang Sambahan. 30 At ang pinuno nila ay si Elizafan na anak ni Uziel. 31 Sila ang responsable sa pag-aasikaso ng Kahon ng Kasunduan, ang mesa ang lalagyan ng ilaw, ang altar, ang mga kagamitang ginagamit ng mga pari sa kanilang paglilingkod at ang kurtina. Sila ang responsable sa lahat ng mga gawain na may kinalaman sa mga kagamitang ito. 32 Ang pinuno ng mga Levita ay si Eleazar na anak ng paring si Aaron. Siya ang pinili na mamahala sa mga binigyan ng responsibilidad sa pag-aasikaso ng Tolda.
33 Ang mga angkan ni Merari ay ang mga pamilya na nanggaling kina Mahli at Mushi. 34 Ang bilang nila mula isang buwang gulang pataas ay 6,200. 35 Ang kanilang pinuno ay si Zuriel na anak ni Abihail. Nasa bandang hilaga ng Toldang Sambahan ang lugar na kanilang pinagkakampuhan. 36 Sila ang binigyan ng responsibilidad sa pag-aasikaso ng mga balangkas ng Tolda, ng mga biga nito, ng mga haligi at mga pundasyon. Sila ang responsable sa lahat ng mga gawain na may kinalaman sa mga kagamitang ito. 37 Sila rin ang binigyan ng responsibilidad sa pag-aasikaso ng mga haligi na pinagkakabitan ng mga kurtina ng bakuran na nakapalibot sa Tolda pati ang mga pundasyon, mga tulos at mga tali.
38 Ang lugar na pinagkakampuhan nina Moises at Aaron at ng mga anak niya ay nasa harapan ng Toldang Sambahan, sa bandang silangan. Sila ang binigyan ng responsibilidad para pamahalaan ang mga gawain sa Tolda para sa mga Israelita. Ang sinumang gagawa ng mga gawain ng pari sa Tolda na hindi lahi ni Levi ay papatayin.
39 Ang kabuuang bilang ng mga lalaki na Levita mula isang buwang gulang pataas ay 22,000 lahat. Sina Moises at Aaron ang bumilang sa kanila, ayon sa iniutos ng Panginoon sa kanila.
40 Sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, “Bilangin mo at ilista ang mga pangalan ng lahat ng panganay na lalaki ng mga Israelita, mula sa edad na isang buwan pataas. 41 Italaga ang mga Levita sa akin kapalit ng lahat ng panganay na lalaki ng mga Israelita. Ihandog din sa akin ang mga hayop ng mga Levita kapalit ng mga hayop ng mga Israelita. Ako ang Panginoon.”
42-43 Kaya binilang ni Moises ang lahat ng panganay na lalaki ng mga Israelita na may edad isang buwan pataas, ayon sa iniutos ng Panginoon sa kanya. Ang bilang nila ay 22,273.
44 Sinabi pa ng Panginoon kay Moises, 45 “Italaga ang mga Levita sa akin kapalit ng mga panganay na lalaki ng mga Israelita. Ihandog din sa akin ang mga hayop ng mga Levita kapalit ng mga panganay na hayop ng mga Israelita. Akin ang mga Levita. Ako ang Panginoon. 46 At dahil sobra ng 273 ang panganay na lalaki ng mga Israelita kaysa sa mga Levita, kailangang tubusin sila. 47 Ang ibabayad sa pagtubos sa bawat isa sa kanila ay limang pirasong pilak ayon sa timbang ng pilak sa timbangang ginagamit ng mga pari. 48 Ibigay mo kay Aaron at sa mga anak niyang lalaki ang sobrang pera na itinubos sa mga panganay.”
49 Kaya kinolekta ni Moises ang pera na ipinangtubos sa mga panganay na anak ng mga Israelita na sobra sa bilang ng mga Levita. 50 Ang kanyang nakolekta ay 1,365 pirasong pilak, ayon sa timbang ng pilak sa timbangan na ginagamit ng mga pari. 51 At ibinigay niya ito kay Aaron at sa mga anak niyang lalaki ayon sa iniutos ng Panginoon sa kanya.
