Bestimmungen für Opfer im Land Kanaan
15 Und der Herr redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 Rede mit den Kindern Israels und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch zum Wohnsitz geben will,
3 und ihr dem Herrn ein Feueropfer bringen wollt, es sei ein Brandopfer oder Schlachtopfer, um ein besonderes Gelübde zu erfüllen, oder ein freiwilliges Opfer, oder eure Festopfer, die ihr dem Herrn zum lieblichen Geruch darbringt, von Rindern oder von Schafen,
4 so soll der, welcher dem Herrn sein Opfer darbringen will, zugleich als Speisopfer ein Zehntel Feinmehl darbringen, gemengt mit einem Viertel Hin Öl,
5 und als Trankopfer sollst du ein Viertel Hin Wein opfern, zum Brandopfer oder zum Schlachtopfer, bei jedem [geopferten] Schaf.
6 Wenn aber ein Widder geopfert wird, sollst du das Speisopfer bereiten mit zwei Zehnteln Feinmehl, gemengt mit einem Drittel Hin Öl;
7 und zum Trankopfer ein Drittel Hin Wein; das sollst du dem Herrn opfern zum lieblichen Geruch.
8 Willst du aber einen Stier als Brandopfer oder als Schlachtopfer darbringen, um ein Gelübde zu erfüllen oder als Friedensopfer für den Herrn,
9 so sollst du zu dem Stier das Speisopfer darbringen, drei Zehntel Feinmehl, gemengt mit einem halben Hin Öl;
10 und du sollst als Trankopfer ein halbes Hin Wein darbringen. Das ist ein Feueropfer für den Herrn zum lieblichen Geruch.
11 So soll man verfahren mit jedem Stier, mit jedem Widder, mit jedem Schaf oder mit jeder Ziege.
12 Entsprechend der Zahl dieser Opfer soll auch die Zahl [der Speisopfer und Trankopfer] sein.
13 Jeder Einheimische soll es genau so machen, wenn er dem Herrn ein Feueropfer zum lieblichen Geruch darbringt.
14 Und wenn ein Fremdling bei euch wohnt oder wer sonst unter euch sein wird bei euren [künftigen] Geschlechtern, und dem Herrn ein Feueropfer darbringen will zum lieblichen Geruch, der soll es genau so machen, wie ihr es macht.
15 In der ganzen Gemeinde soll ein und dieselbe Satzung gelten, für euch und für den Fremdling; eine ewige Satzung soll das sein für eure [künftigen] Geschlechter; wie ihr, so soll auch der Fremdling sein vor dem Herrn.
16 Ein Gesetz und ein Recht gilt für euch und für den Fremdling, der sich bei euch aufhält.
17 Und der Herr redete zu Mose und sprach:
18 Rede mit den Kindern Israels und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, in das ich euch bringen werde,
19 und wenn ihr dann vom Brot des Landes esst, so sollt ihr für den Herrn ein Hebopfer erheben.
20 Vom Erstling eures Schrotmehls sollt ihr einen Kuchen als Hebopfer erheben; wie das Hebopfer von der Tenne sollt ihr es erheben.
21 Ihr sollt dem Herrn von den Erstlingen eures Schrotmehls ein Hebopfer geben in euren [künftigen] Geschlechtern.
Opfer für versehentliche Übertretungen
22 Und wenn ihr aus Versehen eines dieser Gebote nicht haltet, die der Herr zu Mose geredet hat —
23 von allem, was der Herr euch durch Mose geboten hat, von dem Tag an, als der Herr anfing zu gebieten, und weiterhin für eure [künftigen] Geschlechter —,
24 wenn es vor den Augen der Gemeinde verborgen, aus Versehen geschehen ist, so soll die ganze Gemeinde einen Jungstier als Brandopfer darbringen, zum lieblichen Geruch für den Herrn, samt seinem Speisopfer und Trankopfer, wie es verordnet ist, und einen Ziegenbock als Sündopfer.
25 Und der Priester soll so für die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israels Sühnung erwirken, und es wird ihnen vergeben werden, denn es war ein Versehen, und sie haben ihre Gaben dargebracht als Feueropfer für den Herrn, dazu ihr Sündopfer vor dem Herrn, für ihr Versehen.
26 So wird der ganzen Gemeinde der Kinder Israels vergeben werden, dazu auch dem Fremdling, der unter euch wohnt; denn das ganze Volk hat es aus Versehen getan.
27 Wenn aber eine einzelne Seele aus Versehen sündigt, so soll diese eine einjährige Ziege als Sündopfer darbringen.
28 Und der Priester soll für diese Seele, die ohne Vorsatz, aus Versehen gesündigt hat, Sühnung erwirken vor dem Herrn; indem er für sie Sühnung erwirkt, wird ihr vergeben werden.
29 Es soll ein und dasselbe Gesetz gelten, wenn jemand aus Versehen etwas tut, sowohl für den Einheimischen unter den Kindern Israels als auch für den Fremdling, der in eurer Mitte wohnt.
30 Wenn aber eine Seele vorsätzlich[a] handelt — es sei ein Einheimischer oder ein Fremdling —, so lästert sie den Herrn. Eine solche Seele soll ausgerottet werden mitten aus ihrem Volk;
31 denn sie hat das Wort des Herrn verachtet und sein Gebot gebrochen; eine solche Seele soll unbedingt ausgerottet werden; ihre Schuld ist auf ihr!
Bestrafung des Sabbatschänders
32 Und als die Kinder Israels in der Wüste waren, fanden sie einen Mann, der am Sabbat Holz sammelte.
33 Da brachten ihn die, welche ihn beim Holzsammeln ertappt hatten, zu Mose und Aaron und vor die ganze Gemeinde.
34 Und sie legten ihn in Gewahrsam; denn es war nicht genau bestimmt, was mit ihm geschehen sollte.
35 Der Herr aber sprach zu Mose: Der Mann muss unbedingt getötet werden; die ganze Gemeinde soll ihn außerhalb des Lagers steinigen!
36 Da führte ihn die ganze Gemeinde vor das Lager hinaus, und sie steinigten ihn, dass er starb, wie der Herr es Mose geboten hatte.
Gedenkquasten an den Kleidern
37 Und der Herr redete zu Mose und sprach:
38 Rede zu den Kindern Israels und sage ihnen, dass sie sich eine Quaste an die Zipfel ihrer Obergewänder machen, in ihren [künftigen] Geschlechtern, und eine Schnur von blauem Purpur an der Quaste des Zipfels befestigen.
39 Und die Quaste soll euch dazu dienen, dass ihr bei ihrem Anblick an alle Gebote des Herrn denkt und sie befolgt, dass ihr nicht den Trieben eures Herzens nachgeht und euren Augen, denen ihr nachhurt;
40 sondern dass ihr an alle meine Gebote gedenkt und sie tut und eurem Gott heilig seid.
41 Ich, der Herr, bin euer Gott, der ich euch aus dem Land Ägypten geführt habe, um euer Gott zu sein; ich, der Herr, euer Gott.

15 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
3 And will make an offering by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the Lord, of the herd or of the flock:
4 Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the Lord bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.
5 And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
6 Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meat offering two tenth deals of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil.
7 And for a drink offering thou shalt offer the third part of an hin of wine, for a sweet savour unto the Lord.
8 And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the Lord:
9 Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.
10 And thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.
11 Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.
12 According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
13 All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.
14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord; as ye do, so he shall do.
15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.
16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
17 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
18 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
19 Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the Lord.
20 Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.
21 Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the Lord an heave offering in your generations.
22 And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the Lord hath spoken unto Moses,
23 Even all that the Lord hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the Lord commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;
24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the Lord, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their ignorance:
26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31 Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
35 And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses.
37 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
41 I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.

Laws of Grain and Drink Offerings
15 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 (A)“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you have come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving to you, 3 and you (B)make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, (C)to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or (D)in your appointed feasts, to make a (E)sweet[a] aroma to the Lord, from the herd or the flock, 4 then (F)he who presents his offering to the Lord shall bring (G)a grain offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed (H)with one-fourth of a hin of oil; 5 (I)and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering you shall prepare with the burnt offering or the sacrifice, for each (J)lamb. 6 (K)Or for a ram you shall prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-third of a hin of oil; 7 and as a drink offering you shall offer one-third of a hin of wine as a sweet aroma to the Lord. 8 And when you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering, or as a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, or as a (L)peace offering to the Lord, 9 then shall be offered (M)with the young bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil; 10 and you shall bring as the drink offering half a hin of wine as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
11 (N)‘Thus it shall be done for each young bull, for each ram, or for each lamb or young goat. 12 According to the number that you prepare, so you shall do with everyone according to their number. 13 All who are native-born shall do these things in this manner, in presenting an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. 14 And if a stranger [b]dwells with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and would present an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, just as you do, so shall he do. 15 (O)One [c]ordinance shall be for you of the assembly and for the stranger who dwells with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. 16 One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you.’ ”
17 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 18 (P)“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land to which I bring you, 19 then it will be, when you eat of (Q)the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord. 20 (R)You shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as (S)a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up. 21 Of the first of your ground meal you shall give to the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.
Laws Concerning Unintentional Sin
22 (T)‘If you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses— 23 all that the Lord has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day the Lord gave commandment and onward throughout your generations— 24 then it will be, (U)if it is unintentionally committed, [d]without the knowledge of the congregation, that the whole congregation shall offer one young bull as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma to the Lord, (V)with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and (W)one kid of the goats as a sin offering. 25 (X)So the priest shall make atonement for the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it was unintentional; they shall bring their offering, an offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their unintended sin. 26 It shall be forgiven the whole congregation of the children of Israel and the stranger who dwells among them, because all the people did it unintentionally.
27 ‘And (Y)if a person sins unintentionally, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering. 28 (Z)So the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before the Lord, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 (AA)You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.
Law Concerning Presumptuous Sin
30 (AB)‘But the person who does anything [e]presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one [f]brings reproach on the Lord, and he shall be [g]cut off from among his people. 31 Because he has (AC)despised the word of the Lord, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his [h]guilt shall be upon him.’ ”
Penalty for Violating the Sabbath(AD)
32 Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, (AE)they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 They put him (AF)under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.
35 Then the Lord said to Moses, (AG)“The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall (AH)stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died.
Tassels on Garments
37 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 38 “Speak to the children of Israel: Tell (AI)them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. 39 And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and (AJ)remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you (AK)may not (AL)follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, 40 and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be (AM)holy for your God. 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.”
