Instructions to Gaius
5 Dear friend, you act faithfully[a] in whatever you do for the brothers, even though they are strangers[b]. 6 They have testified to your love before the church; you will do well to send them[c] on their way in a manner worthy of God. 7 For they have gone out on behalf of the name, accepting nothing from the pagans.[d] 8 Therefore we ought to support such people, so that we become fellow workers with the truth.

Please send them on their way(C) in a manner that honors(D) God. 7 It was for the sake of the Name(E) that they went out, receiving no help from the pagans.(F) 8 We ought therefore to show hospitality to such people so that we may work together for the truth.
