Gemenskapsoffret

3 När någon vill ge ett gemenskapsoffer och ta ett djur från nötboskapen, kan han offra antingen en tjur eller en ko till Herren, men djuret måste vara felfritt. 2 Han ska lägga sin hand på dess huvud och slakta det vid ingången till uppenbarelsetältet. Sedan ska Arons söner, prästerna, stänka blodet på altarets alla sidor. 3 Från gemenskapsoffret ska han sedan ge som eldoffer åt Herren fettet som täcker kroppens inre delar och är i dem, 4 de båda njurarna med det fett som sitter på låren, samt fettet runt levern som han tar ut tillsammans med njurarna. 5 Aron och hans söner ska sedan bränna det på brännoffret på altaret på den brinnande veden som ett eldoffer, en välbehaglig lukt för Herren.

6 Om ett djur från småboskapen används som gemenskapsoffer till Herren får det inte ha något fel och det kan antingen vara en hanne eller en hona.

7 Om det är ett får, ska den som bär fram det inför Herren 8 lägga sin hand på dess huvud och slakta det framför uppenbarelsetältet. Arons söner ska stänka blodet på altarets alla sidor. 9 Av gemenskapsoffret ska han sedan ge som eldoffer åt Herren dess fett, hela svansen, avhuggen invid ryggraden, fettet som täcker de inre organen och är i dem, 10 de båda njurarna och fettet som sitter på låren samt på levern som han tar ut tillsammans med njurarna. 11 Prästen ska sedan bränna det på altaret som matoffer, som ett eldoffer åt Herren.

12 Om någon bär fram en get som offer till Herren, 13 ska han lägga sin hand på dess huvud och slakta den framför uppenbarelsetältet. Arons söner ska stänka dess blod på altarets alla sidor. 14 Sedan ska han av sitt offer ge som eldoffer till Herren fettet som täcker de inre organen och är i dem, 15 de båda njurarna och fettet som sitter på låren och runt levern som han tar ut tillsammans med njurarna. 16 Prästen bränner det på altaret som matoffer, som ett eldoffer, en välbehaglig lukt för Herren. Allt fett tillhör Herren.

17 Det är en fastställd stadga för all framtid att ni inte ska äta vare sig fett eller blod.’ ”

6 Men om någon vill bära fram åt HERREN ett tackoffer av småboskapen, så skall han därtill taga ett felfritt djur, av hankön eller av honkön.

7 Om det är ett får som han vill offra, så skall han ställa fram det inför HERRENS ansikte.

8 Och han skall lägga sin hand på sitt offerdjurs huvud och sedan slakta det framför uppenbarelsetältet; och Arons söner skola stänka dess blod på altaret runt omkring.

9 Och av tackoffersdjuret skall han såsom eldsoffer åt HERREN offra dess fett, hela svansen, frånskild invid ryggraden, och det fett som omsluter inälvorna, och allt det fett som sitter på inälvorna,

10 och båda njurarna med det fett som sitter på dem invid länderna, så ock leverfettet, vilket han skall frånskilja invid njurarna.

11 Och prästen skall förbränna det på altaret: en eldsoffersspis åt HERREN.

12 Likaledes, om någon vill offra en get, så skall han ställa fram denna inför HERRENS ansikte.

13 Och han skall lägga sin hand på dess huvud och sedan slakta den framför uppenbarelsetältet; och Arons söner skola stänka dess blod på altaret runt omkring.

14 Och han skall därav såsom eldsoffer åt HERREN offra det fett som omsluter inälvorna, och allt det fett som sitter på inälvorna,

15 och båda njurarna med det fett som sitter på dem invid länderna, så ock leverfettet, vilket han skall frånskilja invid njurarna.

16 Och prästen skall förbränna detta på altaret: en eldsoffersspis, till en välbehaglig lukt. Allt fettet skall tillhöra HERREN.

17 Detta skall vara en evärdlig stadga för eder från släkte till släkte, var I än ären bosatta: intet fett och intet blod skolen I förtära.

3 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

3 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

5 And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Lord.

8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

9 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

10 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

11 And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the Lord.

12 And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.

13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord's.

17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

The Fellowship Offering

3 “‘If your offering is a fellowship offering,(A) and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the Lord an animal without defect.(B) 2 You are to lay your hand on the head(C) of your offering and slaughter it(D) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.(E) Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash(F) the blood against the sides(G) of the altar.(H) 3 From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the Lord: the internal organs(I) and all the fat(J) that is connected to them, 4 both kidneys(K) with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 5 Then Aaron’s sons(L) are to burn it on the altar(M) on top of the burnt offering(N) that is lying on the burning wood;(O) it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(P)

6 “‘If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering(Q) to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect. 7 If you offer a lamb,(R) you are to present it before the Lord,(S) 8 lay your hand on its head and slaughter it(T) in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar. 9 From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering(U) to the Lord: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 10 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 11 The priest shall burn them on the altar(V) as a food offering(W) presented to the Lord.(X)

12 “‘If your offering is a goat,(Y) you are to present it before the Lord, 13 lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash(Z) its blood against the sides of the altar.(AA) 14 From what you offer you are to present this food offering to the Lord: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 15 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.(AB) 16 The priest shall burn them on the altar(AC) as a food offering,(AD) a pleasing aroma.(AE) All the fat(AF) is the Lord’s.(AG)

17 “‘This is a lasting ordinance(AH) for the generations to come,(AI) wherever you live:(AJ) You must not eat any fat or any blood.(AK)’”
