Die Dankopfer

Ist aber seine Gabe ein Dankopfer[a], und bringt er es von den Rindern dar, es sei ein Ochs oder eine Kuh, so soll er ein tadelloses Tier herbringen vor den Herrn. Und er soll seine Hand stützen auf seines Opfers Haupt und es schächten vor der Tür der Stiftshütte, und Aarons Söhne, die Priester, sollen sein Blut ringsum an den Altar sprengen. Dann soll er von dem Dankopfer zur Verbrennung für den Herrn das Fett herzubringen, welches das Eingeweide bedeckt, auch alles Fett, das am Eingeweide hängt; dazu die beiden Nieren samt dem Fett daran, das an den Lenden ist, und was über die Leber hervorragt; oberhalb der Nieren soll er es wegnehmen. Und Aarons Söhne sollen es verbrennen auf dem Altar, über dem Brandopfer, auf dem Holz, das über dem Feuer liegt, als ein wohlriechendes Feuer für den Herrn.

Besteht aber seine Gabe, die er dem Herrn zum Dankopfer darbringt, in Kleinvieh, es sei ein Männchen oder Weibchen, so soll es tadellos sein. Bringt er ein Lamm zum Opfer dar, so bringe er es vor den Herrn und stütze seine Hand auf des Opfers Haupt und schächte es vor der Stiftshütte; die Söhne Aarons aber sollen das Blut ringsum an den Altar sprengen. Darnach bringe er von dem Dankopfer das Fett dem Herrn zur Verbrennung dar, dazu das Fett, welches das Eingeweide bedeckt, samt allem Fett an den Eingeweiden; 10 auch die beiden Nieren mit dem Fett daran, das an den Lenden ist, samt dem, was über die Leber hervorragt; oberhalb der Nieren soll er es wegnehmen; 11 und der Priester soll es auf dem Altar verbrennen als Nahrung für das Feuer des Herrn.

12 Besteht aber sein Opfer in einer Ziege, so bringe er sie vor den Herrn 13 und stütze seine Hand auf ihr Haupt und schächte sie vor der Stiftshütte; die Söhne Aarons aber sollen das Blut ringsum an den Altar sprengen. 14 Darnach bringe er sein Opfer dar zur Verbrennung für den Herrn, nämlich das Fett, welches das Eingeweide bedeckt, samt allem Fett, das am Eingeweide hängt; 15 dazu die beiden Nieren mit dem Fett daran, das an den Lenden ist, samt dem, was über die Leber hervorragt; oberhalb der Nieren soll er es wegnehmen. 16 Das soll der Priester auf dem Altar verbrennen als Nahrung für das Feuer, zum lieblichen Geruch. Alles Fett gehört dem Herrn.

17 Das ist eine ewige Satzung für eure Geschlechter an allen euren Wohnorten, daß ihr weder Fett noch Blut essen sollt.

Aharon’s sons will make it go up in smoke on the altar on top of the burnt offering which is on the wood on the fire; it is an offering made by fire, a fragrant aroma for Adonai.

“‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Adonai is from the flock, then, when he offers it, no matter whether it is male or female, it must be without defect. If he brings a lamb for his offering, then he is to present it before Adonai. He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aharon are to splash its blood against all sides of the altar. From the sacrifices made as peace offerings, he is to present Adonai with an offering made by fire; it is to consist of its fat, the entire fat tail, which he will remove close to the lower backbone, the fat covering the inner organs, all the fat above the inner organs, 10 the two kidneys, the fat on them near the flanks, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys. 11 The cohen will make it go up in smoke on the altar; it is food, an offering made by fire to Adonai.

12 “‘If his offering is a goat, then he is to present it before Adonai. 13 He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aharon are to splash its blood against all sides of the altar. 14 He is to present from it his offering, an offering made by fire to Adonai ; it is to consist of the fat covering the inner organs, all the fat above the inner organs, 15 the two kidneys, the fat on them near the flanks, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys. 16 The cohen will make them go up in smoke on the altar; it is food, an offering made by fire to be a fragrant aroma; all the fat belongs to Adonai. 17 It is to be a permanent regulation through all your generations wherever you live that you will eat neither fat nor blood.’”

The Fellowship Offering

“‘If your offering is a fellowship offering,(A) and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the Lord an animal without defect.(B) You are to lay your hand on the head(C) of your offering and slaughter it(D) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.(E) Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash(F) the blood against the sides(G) of the altar.(H) From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the Lord: the internal organs(I) and all the fat(J) that is connected to them, both kidneys(K) with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. Then Aaron’s sons(L) are to burn it on the altar(M) on top of the burnt offering(N) that is lying on the burning wood;(O) it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(P)

“‘If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering(Q) to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect. If you offer a lamb,(R) you are to present it before the Lord,(S) lay your hand on its head and slaughter it(T) in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar. From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering(U) to the Lord: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 10 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 11 The priest shall burn them on the altar(V) as a food offering(W) presented to the Lord.(X)

12 “‘If your offering is a goat,(Y) you are to present it before the Lord, 13 lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash(Z) its blood against the sides of the altar.(AA) 14 From what you offer you are to present this food offering to the Lord: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 15 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.(AB) 16 The priest shall burn them on the altar(AC) as a food offering,(AD) a pleasing aroma.(AE) All the fat(AF) is the Lord’s.(AG)

17 “‘This is a lasting ordinance(AH) for the generations to come,(AI) wherever you live:(AJ) You must not eat any fat or any blood.(AK)’”
