⁶ who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a manner ^(A)worthy of God.

¹² we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and ^(A)charged ^(B)you to walk in a manner worthy of God, ^(C)who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

⁵ because I ^(A)hear of your love and ^(B)of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, ⁶ and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full ^(C)knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.^{[a] 7} For I have derived much joy and ^(D)comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints ^(E)have been refreshed through you.

¹³ Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and ^(A)Apollos on their way; see that they lack nothing.

³ So, ^(A)being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, ^(B)describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and ^(C)brought great joy to all ^(D)the brothers.^[a]

²⁰ For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But ^(A)if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.

¹⁰ so as ^(A)to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, ^(B)fully pleasing to him: ^(C)bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

¹⁴ Yet it was kind of you ^(A)to share^[a] my trouble.

¹⁶ I wanted to visit you ^(A)on my way to Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on my way to Judea.
