6 For some of these are people who creep into houses and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith are rejected. 9 But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.

6 For among them are (A)those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to (B)arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as (C)Jannes and Jambres (D)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, (E)men corrupted in mind and (F)disqualified regarding the faith. 9 But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, (G)as was that of those two men.
