2 Timothy 3:6-9
New English Translation
6 For some of these insinuate themselves[a] into households and captivate weak women[b] who are overwhelmed with sins and led along by various passions. 7 Such women are always seeking instruction,[c] yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 8 And just as Jannes and Jambres[d] opposed Moses, so these people—who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith[e]—also oppose the truth. 9 But they will not go much further,[f] for their foolishness will be obvious to everyone, just like it was with Jannes and Jambres.[g]

2 Timothy 3:6-9
Common English Bible
6 Some will slither into households and control immature women who are burdened with sins and driven by all kinds of desires. 7 These women are always learning, but they can never arrive at an understanding of the truth. 8 These people oppose the truth in the same way that Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. Their minds are corrupt and their faith is counterfeit. 9 But they won’t get very far. Their foolishness will become obvious to everyone like those others.
