Difficult Times Will Come

But know this, that (A)in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be (B)lovers of self, (C)lovers of money, (D)boastful, (E)arrogant, (F)blasphemers, (G)disobedient to parents, (H)ungrateful, (I)unholy, (J)unloving, irreconcilable, [a](K)malicious gossips, without self-control, without gentleness, (L)without love for good, (M)treacherous, (N)reckless, (O)conceited, (P)lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [b](Q)godliness, but having (R)denied its power. (S)Keep away from such men as these.

The Last Days

But know this: In the last days there will be terrible times. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemous, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, not able to reconcile with others, slanderous, without self-control, savage, haters of what is good, treacherous, reckless, puffed up with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to an outward form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such people.
