20 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels,(A) but also those of wood and clay; some for honorable[a] use and some for dishonorable.[b](B) 21 So if anyone purifies himself from anything dishonorable,[c] he will be a special[d] instrument, set apart, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.(C)

22 Flee(D) from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace,(E) along with those who call on the Lord(F) from a pure heart.
